About the role: We are seeking a passionate Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of preschool and school-aged children presenting with communication disorders. You will deliver ethical, evidence-based services while collaborating closely with teachers, psychologists, and other health professionals. Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose children presenting with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, social-emotional challenges, learning difficulties, and speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop, implement, and review individualised treatment plans. Manage a caseload effectively, providing therapy within the clinic and, when required, in schools or preschools. Prepare comprehensive reports for assessments, NDIS, and Medicare requirements. Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration, case discussions, mentoring sessions, and team meetings. Requirements: Essential Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and eligibility for enrolment in the SPA self-regulation program. Minimum 2–3 years' experience with a diverse paediatric caseload, including preschool and school-aged children. Experience supporting children on the Autism Spectrum and with developmental delays. Current Working with Children Check and driver's licence. Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. Strong communication, organisational, and computer skills, with a caring and flexible approach. Desirable Expertise in assessment and management of common paediatric presenting issues.
